Your Video shoot commences almost immediately after the booking has been made. In that, Mike asks for a very basic video of the dance routine to allow him to plan the shoot (shot on an iPhone/Android phone for example). He will also speak to you, to gather ideas on what you expect to see in the video, music backing track if one is needed, whether a makeup and hair stylist is required and lastly, how the dancer will be styled. This process can be anything from 2-3 months or longer before the actual booking date. Once everything has been agreed, a work order combined with a usage license will need to be signed by both parties and this licence is there to protect both parties.
Initially, we will spend 2-3 hrs photographing some stills before proceeding onto the actual video. Be prepared though, the day will be long and apart from a 30min lunch break, you will be working continually for the whole of the time and may even go over (no additional cost) if Mike feels there is a need to. In short, we listen to your requirements to create a video that captures your dance in a powerful and creative way. Under 16’s are more than welcome for both dance video and stills work. But, they must be accompanied by a parent always and a parental consent form must be signed before the shoot commences, which just gives us your permission (the parent) to photograph and or video your child.
Shoot locations - We use a couple of professional studios, dependant on what we are booked to do and these are just outside Northampton, in Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire. We can also shoot outdoors and on location if you so choose. But, this needs to be discussed prior to any booking.
We are also pleased to announce, that we can now provide 12 month’s interest free credit. What a great way to have that professional dance video on your portfolio and to be able to spread the costs over 12 months. Its interest free, because we pay the interest! We also offer professional video services to dance studios who would like their stage shows recorded. This service, would be free. But, we would offer a professionally edited finished product as an item parents could purchase. A percentage of these sales would be passed onto the dance school, so long as the studio assists in the promoting of the product. Please use the contact form for further information. - Contact Form
